Office of Faith Formation

Welcome!

The mission of the Office of Faith Formation at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is to provide empowerment and resources to the families of our faith community toward the goal of forming strong Catholic Christians.

How We Serve:


Children’s Formation / Middle School Youth Ministry
Offered in a grade level based classroom setting with a team of volunteer catechist leaders from September – May. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings from 10:15am – 11:15am in the parish hall. For more information, please click here.


High School Youth Ministry
Offered in a large discussion group setting with a team of professional and volunteer leaders from September – May. Weekly meetings occur on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Additional retreats and events are offered year round. For more information, please click here.


Young Adult Ministry
Offered as small group and individual meetings as needed. This ministry focuses on adults between the ages of 20 – 30 years old. For more information, please click here.

Adult Formation
Offered in several formats including, but not limited to, weekly classroom based sessions, online scripture studies, and a resource library for self study. For more information, please click here.

Baptism Preparation
Baptism preparation is offered as an extension of our Adult Formation program for new or expectant parents that wish to have their child baptized in the Catholic Church. For more information, please click here.


Eucharist / Reconciliation Preparation
Sacramental preparation is offered in conjunction with our Children’s Formation program for children who are in, at least, the 2nd grade. First Reconciliation is offered during Lent of each year and First Eucharist is celebrated the 2nd Sunday of May each Spring. For more information, please click here.

Confirmation Preparation
Sacramental preparation is offered in conjunction with our High School Youth Ministry for teens who are in, at least, the 9th grade. Preparation sessions are offered in the form of a series of one day retreats that are held during the academic year. The celebration of the Sacrament is held in the spring at a date and location determined annually by the Bishop’s office. For more information, please click here.


Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Individuals discerning joining the Christian faith as a Catholic are encouraged to join our RCIA group. The group meets through a series of both online and in person meetings 12 months a year utilizing a revolving curriculum. For more information, please click here.
